SUNGOD'S RECORD

The progeny of the Southland sire Sungod (Harold Dillon—My Mistake) showed up in a favourable light at the Wyndham meeting on Wednesday. Of the eight races on the programme Sungod's descendants provided five winners and four minor placings, the first place-getters being Sunfire, Morning Sun, Winnie Chrysler, Sunny Gold and Sunchild. Sungod is the sire of the local sportsman's (Mr. G. McMillan) smart pacer Sunfish, which registered an attractive performance at the Auckland Club's spring meeting when he defeated Wrackler over two miles. His progeny have all shown early speed, the winners above being nearly all three -year-olds.
