CITY ROVERS’ CLUB Over 50 members and supporters <rf the City Rovers League Football Clt® were present at the annual meeting-, which was held during the at Carlaw Park. Mr. C. Waugh presided. The report stated that the prospects for the coming season were good, strug. the finances of the club were in a fairljr strong position. A slight loss was exS perienced last season, but it is anticipated that this will be fully made this year. Twelve new members were elected. The election of officers resulted: -7President, Mr. C. Waugh; vice-pres** dents, same as last year, with powy* to add; club captain, Mr. M. Wetherill; delegate to the A.R.L., Mr. W. J, Davidson; delegate to Mr. F. Kennedy: secretary and treasurer, .lr. E. A. Asher; assistant secretary, Mr. F. Kennedy; auditor, Mr. E. Phelan.
