Phipson. who was run over by a motor-car at Wellington, medical evidence showed his skull had been fractured, but this could have been caused by a fall. Mr. G. Mitchell, driver of the car, j said he felt a front wheel go over i ” - rjv ; found deceased’s body in the road. Witness was driving at a crawling pace at the time. He saw no one and was certain he did not knock Phipson down. No evidence was given by persons who actually saw j The coroner’s finding was that death was caused by injuries received through being accidentally knocked down by u I motor-car. ,
