PILLION-RIDER KILLED
MOTOR-CYCLE SKIDS IN GRAVEL DEATH FROM HEAD WOUNDS (From Our Otiw Correspondent J ROTORUA. To-day. A half-cast© named Davy Walker, aged 34, a married man, died in the King Georg© Hospital last night. He had been pillion riding in the Government forest nurseries, sitting behind a cadet, Ronald Campbell, when, on a bend, the machine struck some loos© gravel, skidded and hit a bank, both riders being thrown off. Walker was seen to be badly hurl and was taken by the ambulance to hospital suffering from head injuries. He died four hours after admission.
