Heliocogyro is Latest Aircraft
(Australian and V.Z. Press Association) Received 11 a.m. LONDON, Monday. THE Air Ministry is building a lieliocogyro invented by an Italian, Signor Isaacco. It is an elaboration of de la Cierva’s autogyro, with the difference that its horizontallyrotating vanes, instead of being operated by hand on the ground like a spinning-top. are driven by small separate motors. Tiny air-screws are attached to the vanes. It is thus expected that the plane will rise almost vertically.
