Mr. G. R. Buttle, is beginning to speak with a big voice in A uckland' investment circles. 1-Ie is the controlling factor in the firm of G. A. Buttle and Company, sharebrokers.

Born in New Zealand, Mr. Buttle spent the greater part of his boyhood across the Tasman, where he finished his school days at the Wesley College, Melbourne. To-day he holds the controlling interest in the firm, and is rapidly becoming known as an authority on investment questions. Mr. Buttle served for three and ahalf years at the Great War, landing back in New Zealand with the rank of temporary captain in charge of a machine-gun division.
