COLLISION AT CROSSING
WOMAN’S NARROW ESCAPE (From Our Onto Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. A collision between a train and a five-seater motor-car driven by Mrs. Cronin, wife of Dr. E. J. Cronin, of East Street, Claudelands, occurred at the Victoria Street crosisng at 6.45 a.m. on Saturday. The engine had crossed the street and the car struck a carriage a severe blow. Mrs. Cronin, who was the sole occupant of the car, escaped injury, but suffered from shock. The car was extensively damaged.
