EDEN RUGBY CLUB
MAY ENTER SENIOR TEAM At the annual meeting of the Eden Rugby Football Club. Mr. R. Matthew presiding, it was reported that the club had had a successful season, and it is suggested that it may be possible to enter a senior team this season. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. G. C. Munns, M.P.; president. Mr. E. H. Potter; vice-presidents, Messrs*. R. Matthews, L. Rhodes. T. Buchanan, A. Rickerby, A. I. Freeman and the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Ritchie; assistant-secretary, Mr. A. Starck; management committee, Messrs. Meharry, Russell, Starck, Sparkes, McGregor, Bradley, Tullett, Milne and Addison; club captain. J. Bradley; vice-presidents, last year's re-elected and Mr. W. Mercer added: delegate to the Auckland Rugby Union, Mr. A. Buckley; delegate to juaior management board. Mr. F. Sparkes; auditors, Messrs. McCombie and Sims. Fourteen new members were elected. It was decided to start practice on Thursday evening next, and if possible to arrange a friendly match with some country team during Easter.
