KUROW FROM NEWCASTLE. —The Union Company’s Kurow from Newcastle arrived at Napier yesterday. The vessel will discharge at Napier, Miramar, Pieton and ’Wellington.
MANUKA AT M ELBOU R N E.— I The Union Company has been notified by cable that the Manuka arrived at Melbourne at S a.m. on Thursday from Bluff, she is to leave Melbourne at 10 a_.ni. next Wednesday for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington.
RANGITIKI AT COLON.— A cable message to the New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Rangitiki arrived at Colon on Tuesday from London and Southampton, bound for New Zealand. She is due at Wellington, on Maicli 24.
THE MARGARET W.— The four-masted auxiliary schooner Margaret W., which has been extensively overhauled and has had a new engine installed, is to run a trial trip to-day. Next week she is to sail for Hokianga to load timber for Australia.
PORT HOBART REPORTED.— The Commonwealth and Dominion Lines motor-ship Port Hobart is reported to have reached Panama last Wednesday, en route from New Zealand to London. She was dispatched from Wellington on February 14. MARAMA LEAVES SYDNEY.— The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the intercolonial passenger steamer Marama left Sydney at o p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due next Tuesday morning.
TOFU A LEAVES SUVA. —Advice lias been received by the local office of the Union Company that the Island passenger steamer Toi'ua left Apia, Samoa, yesterday, for Suv aand Auckland. She is to clear the Fijian port next Thursday, and is expected at Auckland on Monday, March IS.
MAKURA CLEARS PAPEETE.— The Union Company’s R.M.S. Makura, from Sydney, via \v ellington and Rarotonga, arrived at Papeete at z p.m. on Monday, and left at 11 a.m. on Tuesday lor San Francisco, where she is duo on March 15. She will leave San Francisco on the return voyage on March 20. CARGO FROM HAI ?FAX.—Cabled news has been received ba the Canadian National Steamships that the Canadian Challenger sailed Irom Halifax on March 2 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is ciue at Auckland on April 15.
lONIC’S SAILING DATE. —Advice received bv L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., states the departure of the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic from Wellington for London is again scheduled for noon next Wednesday. A former message stated her departure had been postponed until next Friday. TAHITI DUE TUESDAY. —A cable message has been received by the Union Company that the R.M.S. Tahiti, en route from San Francisco, has been delayed in loading at Rarotonga owing to bad weather. She will now not arrive at Wellington until Tuesday, and is to leave there at 10 p.m. on Wednesday for Sydney.
PORT MELBOURNE ARRIVES.— The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Melbourne arrived from Wellington early this morning. She berthed at Queen’s Wharf to complete loading New Zealand produce to the agency of the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company. She is to be dispatched for London, via Panama, on Wednesday night.
LYTTELTON EASTER SERVICE. To cope with the extra passenger traffic during Faster, the Union Company s intercolonial passenger steamer Marama will leave Wellington for Lyttelton at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. She is to sail from Lyttelton on the return trip on March 28, after the arrival of a special passenger train at 6.40 p.m. from Christchurch.
PORT PIRIE TO COMPLETE. —The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Fort Pirie left Wellington for Auckland this morning to complete loading for England. She is due on Monday morning, and will berth at Central Wharf. On Wednesday the vessel is to be dispatched for London, via Panama. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company are the local agents. VANCOUVER MAIL SERVICE. —The R.M.S. Aorangi left Sydney at 4 p.m. yesterday for Vancouver, via Auckland, Suva ai’.d Honolulu. She is due at Auckland at 5 a.m. on Monday, and will sail again at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. She berths at the Prince’s Wharf. The Niagara left Vancouver at 3 p.m. on Wednesday for Sydney, via Honolulu, Suva, and Auckland. She is due at Honolulu on March 13, at Suva on March 21, at Auckland on March 24, and at Sydney on March 29. PIPIRIKI BERTHS.— The Scales Line chartered steamer Pipiriki, after lying at anchor in the stream since Tuesday, berthed at Western Wharf this morning to load wool and general cargo for the Continent and England. From Auckland the vessel will proceed to Wellington, “Wanganui and Napier to complete loading. She is scheduled to clear Napier for Dunkirk, London and Hud, via Panama, on March 18.
HERMINIUS SAILING.— The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Hermimus will complete unloading basic slag front Antwerp at King’s Wharf to-day. She is to sail for New Plymouth to-morrow morning to commence loading for her Homeward voyage. Her other loading ports are Napier, Waikokopu, and Wellington. She is to be dispatched from Wellington for London, via Panama, on March 30.
