The final matches in the South Auckland Centre’s championship singles competition were played on the Hamilton Club’s greens to-day. Results were as follow: First Round.—Stewart 30, defeated Williams 4, on the 15 th head; McFarlane 17, defeated Loveridge, 35. Second Round.—Stewart 18, defeated Loveridge 12; Williams 16, defeated Mcfarlane 15 on the 22nd head. Semi-final.—Williams 21, defeated Stewart 20. Final.—Stewart 23, defeated Williams 10, on the 19th head.
