RAETIHI SWIMMING BATHS
OFFICIAL OPENING (From Our Own Correspondenti KAETIH.I, Saturday. The Raetilii swimming baths wer« duly opened this afternoon by the Mayor, Mr. W. M. Sandford. There was an attendance of over 300 and many visitors from Ohaxune and Tuihapo were present. A team of swimmers from Taihape also attended and took, part in the various competitions, which resulted as follows: Dash Handicap, 25yds.— Millar, Taihape, 1; Kay, Tailiape, 2: Willoughby. Kaotihi. 3. Boys' Race, under 14 years.—Paulgcr, 1| R. AshweLi, 2; Gibson, 2. Corfu Dive.—Fookes, Taihape, l; Hislop, Taihape, 2. Girls' Race, 25yds.—Miss Paulger, Rac. tihi, 1; Miss Tristram, Taihape, 2; Miss Somerville, Taihape, 3. President’s Handicap, 100yds.—Pianfa (Raetihi, 1; Hislop, Taihape, 2; Millar, Tailiape, 3. Neat Dive and Running Dive.—Pitt, Taihape, 1; Hislop, 2; Fookes, 3. Girls’ Race, 14 years and under.—Lewis, Raetihi, 1; Brown, 2; Fdtham, 3.
