WARSHIPS’ PROGRAMME
ROUND THE COAST CRUISES VISITS TO THE SOUNDS Independent cruises in coastal waters will be commenced this month by the four'warships of the New Zealand Naval Division. and it is expected. that they will be absent for about two or three months. Before departing, the warships and the minesweeper Wakakura will participate in the mock battle at Orewa next Thursday. On the preceding afternoon about 500 Territorials will be embarked at Devonport and will bo landed on the beach before daybreak. A mock bombardment of the WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE— The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations during the week-end:— Auckland. Maui Pomare, Canadian Transporter, Canadian Conqueror, Golden Coast, Niagara, Kai Ora, Mamuius, Marama. Chatham Islands. Kemuera, lonic, Nassa, Westmoreland. Wellington.—Maori, Wahine, Xgaio, Arahura. Golden Coast, Hurunui, Golden State, Tairoa. Makura, Tamahine, Port Hobart, Aorangi, Kawatiri. Hauraki. Mahana, Kaitoke, Corinthic, Maunganui, Ulimaroa, Otokia, Waiotapu, Northumberland, Cape York, Manuka, Cowdenlaw. Awarua. —Makura, Cumberland, Cornwall. For Sunday only: Plume, Hurunui, Sir J. C. The Rarawa, which arrived at Onehunga this morning from New Plymouth, sails again at 4 p.m. on Monday on her return trip.
The Hauturu is due at Onehunga tomorrow morning from Hokianga, and leaves at ?> p.m. on Monday for Raglan and Kawhia.
The Arapawa arrives at Onehunga tomorrow from Wanganui and probably sails on Monday afternoon for Waikato Heads.

She will return to Auckland on April 23.
From Auckland the Diomede will gn to Lyttelton for a week and then to Dunedin, where she will stay for nine days. Another nine days will be spent at Paterson Inlet, and after a visit to Milford and Dusky Sounds a week will be spent at Timaru, followed by Five days at Nelson, one day at Pelorus Sound, and a week at Napier She is due at Wellington on April 2(<' where she will stay till May 9. During this time seven days' leave will be granted the New Zealand ratings. call of three days will then be at Gisborne and two days at Tokomaru Bay. The warship will return to Auckland on May 17. The Dunedin and Diomede will carry out naval exercises o.\ Castle Point on April 19.
