PARTY FOR BRIDE

A delightful tea party was given in honour of Miss Margaret Harbutt, whose marriage took place to-day, by Mrs. J. Shackelford and Mrs. W. M. Passmore at the Tudor Tea Rooms on Thursday afternoon. Miss Harbutt was wearing an attractive frock of black taffeta with sleeves of rose patterned ninon and panels of the same material inset under open embroidery at the waistline. Mrs. Passmore's frock of black and white figured crepe de chine was worn with a black bangkok hat and a skunk stole. Mrs. Shackelford wore a navy blue frock of mariette with a close-fitting cherry-coloured hat and white fox furs. Mrs. Harbutt was wearing an ensemble of platinum blue crepella, with a hat to tone. The other guests included: Mrs. F. Winstone, Mrs. Roulston. Mrs. Matthews, Mrs. Young, Misses Harbutt, A. Bell, E. Matthews, R. Whitley, and V. Roulston.
