THE OLD WHARF—For many years during the busiest period of Onehunga’s growth the port was without a wharf. This solid wooden structure was the first. It is now part of a larger modern wharf which joins the original timbers at the launch on the extreme left of the photograph. In the background are the cliffs above the old ships' anchorage.
