N.Z. COUNCIL MEETS BIENNIAL GAMES WITH AUSTRALIA Press Association WELLINGTON. To-day. At a meeting of the Executive j Council of the New Zealand Amateur j Athletic Association, a number of I Amendments to the rules were adopted. ; including one disqualifying any com- j petitor in a cycle road race who accepts outside pacing or shelters behind riders or cars that have nothing to do with the race. It was also decided to allow pacemakers in scratch and champion events. The Hon. F. S. Marks, secretary of i the Australian Association, who was present, suggested 1931 and 1933 for the first of the proposed biennial games between Australia and New Zealand, as both would be clear of other fixtures. The visit of German athletes to Australia having fallen through, the Victorian Association asked the cooperation of New Zealand in arranging a visit from international athletes next season.
