TAURANGA PRESENTATION

At a meeting of the Tauranga Defence Rifle Club committee the president. Mr. A. J. Merrilees, made a presentation to Mr. T. Floyd, who is leaving to reside in Auckland. Mr. Floyd has been a member of the club for over 20 years, and a member of the committee continuously. He has represented the club at all inter-club competitions and presented the club with its most valuable trophy, the Floyd Championship Belt. Mr. Floyd’s career as a rifle shot dates back 48 years. Other members expressed their sense of the valuable services rendered to the club by Mr. Floyd.
