(From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, Monday. The Whangarei Rifle Club held the ■second shoot of its service championship during the week-end. The competition, which comprised ten rounds steady and five rounds snap (five seconds’ exposure), resulted: M. Stewart. steady 40, snap 30, total 70: A. Willcoeks, 38, 30—6 S: P. White, 39. 2S—--67; D. Patterson, 35. 25 —60: E. A. Foote. 37. 22—59; J. Willcoeks. 36. 23 — 59 : K. Edge, 35, 24—59; W. Slade Clarke 33. 26—59. President J. P. White won a sweepstake shoot at 300 yards with a score of 33. M. Stewart was second with
