WORK FOR CABINET

MEETING ON THURSDAY (From Our Resident Reporter. I WELLINGTON, To-day. All Ministers of the Crown will be in Wellington on Thursday morning in order to be present at the first meeting of Cabinet for over three weeks. The last meeting of Cabinet was held a few days before Christmas, and since that time much work has been piling up. In addition to a mass of routine matters, there are several important questions to be dealt with, and it is not considered that it will be possible to finalise everything at one sitting, and it is likely that the meeting will be continued on Friday. ■
