Arne Borg was given an ovation when he appealed. Charlton watched the races i'rom the bank. The results were: Boys’ 220yds Championship.—Cecil Light (Sydney) won in the record time of 2.34. 440yds.—Borg (Sweden), 1; Ryan (Manly), 2; Griffiths (Sydney), 3. BIG CROWD AT MOTUTAPU A most enjoyable day was spent by about 1.000 excursionists on tbe Peregrine, which went to Motutapu on Saturday for the Colonial Sugar Refining Company employees’ annual picnic.
