TO TOUR SOUTH ISLAND AUCKLAND VISIT IN MARCH Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. The Lady Alice Fergusson left for Christchurch last evening. The Gov-ernor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, leaves for the South Island on Monday,, and on January 15 and 16 their Excellencies will visit Oamaru and then proceed to Dunedin. They will stay till January 25, and leave for Christchurch, spending the night at Timaru on the way. They will return to ’Wellington about the middle of February, and at the end of February propose to go into residence at Government House Auckland.
