KARTIGI FOR AUCKLAND. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the Kartigi, en route from Melbourne, leaves Newcastle this afternoon for Auckland,, where she is due next Wednesday.
TREGENNA REPORTED.—En route from Halifax, the Hain Line steamer Tregenna, under charter to the Canadian National Steamships, is reported to have cleared Colon last Sunday in continuation of her voyage to Auckland, "Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on January 24.
THE CANADIAN TRANSPORTER.— Following the Tredennick, which arrived from Montreal this morning, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Transporter is expected from Montreal next Sunday. Her general merchandise cargo will be unloaded at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin.
C. AND D. LONDON VESSELS.—The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Fremantle was scheduled to leave London yesterday for Suva, Wellington, Lyttelton and Napier. She is to be followed from London on February 13 by the Port Napier foi' Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth.
THE WESTMORELAND.—The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal Line steamer Westmoreland is scheduled to leave Liverpool next Saturday with general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lytr telton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on February 12.
THE CANADIAN BRITISHER.—Now discharging and loading at. Southern ports, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Britisher is due at Wellington next Saturday, and is to sail next Monday for Napier and Auckland, t complete loading general cargo for New York, Boston and Halifax. She is expected to be dispatched from Auckland tor New York about January 11.
IRIS SAILED THIS MORNING.—The Pacific Cable Board’s steamer Iris left Auckland this morning for the Tasman Sea, where she will repair a fault in ■the Eastern Extension Company's New Zealand-Sydney cable. The fault is situated about 300 miles from Wellington, and the repair work is expected to take about two days, providing the weather is favourable. Before returning to Auckland the vessel will probably carry out cable repair work in Cook StraiL
TOFU A AT SUVA. —The Union Company’s Island steamer Tofua reached .Suva, at 9 p.m., yesterday, en route from Auckland to Tonga and Samoa.
WAIPAHI TO ANCHOR. After completion of discharge of cargo from southern ports at Prince’s Wharf the Waipahi will be anchored in the stream, where she will be laid up until she is again needed for the Fijian fruit trade.
THE MAM ILI US.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mamilius reached Suva from London on Tuesday. The vessel’s general merchandise cargo is for discharge at Suva, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Timaru. She is due at Lyttelton next Wednesday.
HORORATA FROM LONDON. —Advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Co., Ltd., states the Hororata sailed from London for Wellington, Auckland and Bluff on December 21. She is due at Wellington on January 29, and at Auckland a week later.
TAHITI LEAVES ’FR I SCO. —The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the R.M.S. Tahiti left San Francisco at 2.30 p.m., last Wednesday via ports for Wellington and Sydney. She is due at Wellington on January 14 and at Sydney on January 19.
KILCREDONE FROM CASABLANCA. —Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., advises that the steamer Kilcredone is expected at Auckland from Casablanca, Morocco, next Monday. She is bringing a full cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton.
SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Maunganui leaves Auckland at 3 p.m., tomorrow for Sydney, and the Marama from Wellington at the same time. The Ulimaroa sails from Sydney at noon tomorrow' for Wellington. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning.
TURAKINA AT NEW YORK.—En route from New Zealand to Halifax, London, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Turaklna is reported to have reached New "Fork last Monday. She was despatched from Auckland on November 30.
WAIRUNA REPORTS. —According to a radio message received by the local office of the Union Company, the transpacific steamer Wairuna is due at Auckland at 2 p.m., on Sunday from the Pacific Coast via Papeete. -After discharge here, the vessel proceeds to Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney to complete.
MELBOURNE PASSENGER SERVICE. —The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka left Wellington on Monday afternoon and is due at Melbourne on Saturday. The vessel is scheduled to leave Melbourne on January 14. From Wellington she will return to Melbourne, via Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff.
ENTON AT SUVA.—An arrival at Suva on Monday was the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Enton, en route from New York to New Zealand. After unloading a quantity of cargo at Suva the vessel will unload the remainder of the cargo at Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is to clear Suva to-day and is scheduled to reach Auckland next Tuesday. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents.
