At noon to-morrow the Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua (Captain Duncan McDonald) leaves Auckland on her return trip to Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. KARTIGI CLEARS MELBOURNE. The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the cargo ste^niiei - Kartigi left Melbourne at 3 p.m. last Monday, via Newcastle, for Auckland, where she is due early in the New Year. ULIMAROA SAILS 5 P.M. Taking passengers, mails and cargo the Hud-dart-Parker’s passenger steamer . Ulimaroa leaves Auckland at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Sydney, where she is due next Tuesday morning.

Spedidng, Ltd., advise that the steamer Olivebank, which left Java on December 11 for Auckland, has reported bv wireless that she expects to reach Auckland on New Year’s Day ; The Vessel will berth at Chelsea to discharge hei cargo of raw sugar. MAUNGANUI LEAVES SYDNEY. —- The local office of the Union Company has been advised by cable that the intercolonial passenger steamer Maunganui left Sydney at 3 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. She is due here on Monday morning next, and is scheduled to leave here at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 4 on her return trip to Sydney. PORT DENISON SAILS TO-MORROW. —Heather, Roberton, Limited, advises that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Denison leaves Auckland at 7 o clock tomorrow morning for Gisborne, thence Waikokopu, Wellington, Bluff and Lyttelton to fill up for Home. The vessel is scheduled to sail finally from Lyttelton on January 22 for London, via Panama. TAMAROA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Tamaroa leaves Auckland at 10 o’clock this evening for Opua, thence Gisborne and Wellington to continue her loading. From Wellington the vessel returns here on January 10 to fill up for Home, and is scheduled to clear this port finally on January 19 for Southampton and London, via Panama. A. S. Paterson and Company are the local agents for the Tamaroa.
