PINK COAT SOLD FOR BIG PRICE

DUNEDIN OWNER TO RETIRE Press Association DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Mr. J. M. Samson has sold the Hunting Song—Red Edan colt Pink Coat for l,ooogns. The colt will remain in E. J. Ellis’s stable at Timaru. Mr. Samson is the largest racing owner in the Dominion, and is about to give up the sport in order to undertake a world tour. Pink Coat was one of very few of his horses he had decided to retain if the price asked was not realised.
