BUSY PORT OF WANGANUI Press Association WANGANUI Rriday. In addition to the usual coastal shipping trade there has been a fair amount of overseas shipping at the port of Wanganui this •week. The liner Port Auckland loaded cargo, and sailed with passengers and mails for London via Panama. The overseas vessel Matakana arrived yesterday from Auckland to continue her homeward loading and will sail for Wellington to-night. On Monday the liner Taranaki will leave New Plymouth for this port to load cargo for Great Britain. The tramp steamer Antonio arrived yesterday with a cargo of phosphates from M aka tea for discharge. The intercolonial steamer Gabriella, which has been in port all the week, will sail tomorrow on her return trip to Australia.
