New Distributing Arrangements

P.D.C. Pictures Five long-run attractions, 12 specials and 26 features comprise the strong programme of P.D.C. pictures to be introduced to New Zealand audiences during 1929. Special arrangements have been made by Hoyts Production Pty., Ltd., of Sydney, for the distribution of P.D.C. pictures and the first releases in New Zealand will be at the Regent Theatres, Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. In addition to the pictures numbered

above, there will be two super-attrac-tions, ‘ The Godless Girl,’’ produced by Cecil B. de Mille and ‘•Chicago/’ The pictures of the P.D.C. programme, all of which have been pro--1 duced under the supervision of de Mille, include a striking assembly of stars in adaptations of popular novels and plays. The stars include William Boyd in -Power” and “The Top,” Rod La Rocque in “Love Over Night” and “Hold ’Em. Yale,” Lea trice in “Man-made Women,” with H. B. "Warner and Seena Owen, a story of modern marriage amid New York’s smartest social set, also “Honour Above All,” “Annapolis” with Lina Basquette and John Mack Brown, ‘Ned McCobb’s Daughter.” starring Anna Q. Nilsson, and a series of new starring pictures for Marie Prevost.
