AUCKLAND REHANDICAPS
AS a result of their victories at Claudelands on Saturday, The Shrew and Gold Sovereign have received penalties for the Auckland Club's first day card at Christmas. In the Parnell Handicap, Shrew Has been rehandicapped from 12 to 36 yards, and in the Introductory Handicap Gold Sovereign has gone back from 48 to 72 yards, both heats being over a two-mile course.
