SUN COMMERCIAL SERVICE
T.A. (Onehunga): No. s pecu! at or (Ooehiinga); Although we may hold opinions regarding the future movements of the market for such scrip, we hesitate to pass them on. It certainly cannot be regarded in the light of an investment—at the best it is only a gamble. Hesitant (Otahuhu): We wouldn’t hesitate to turn it down. You would have practically no security for your money, and the scrip would have difficulty in finding a market if you were forced to quit at short notice. * “Safety’’ (City): We think the selection F so ° d °ne» wUh the exception perhaps of the last. This company is only starting to show a profit after several b a d years, and is not yet properly on its feet. No. 1 is sound enough, but we would not touch the ordinary shares on any account as they are too highpriced. No. 2 and 3 we also think are good enough buying. No. 4, as you will no doubt have noticed, is passing through a period of neglect, and though it has attractions, we think you would find greater safety with the first three or with a progressive banking or insur=ance company’s scrip.
