POLICEMAN INJURED
TRAM AND CYCLE COLLIDE PresM Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. As the result of a collision between a tramcar and a motor-cycle with a side-chair attached. Police Constable George Murray was admitted to hospital last night suffering from severe injuries to his head and a compound fracture of one leg. Murray was riding the motor-cycle, and he had In the side-chair another constable, who escaped with minor injuries.
