Greig were among the arrivals in Auckland this morning from the South. Mr. J. M. Fisher is visiting New Zealand on behalf of the Tasmanian Government in relation to proposals for a re-establishment of the Melbourne-liobart-New Zealand shipping service. Mr. Kenneth Brampton, producer for the Auckland Little Theatre Society, js leaving for Rotorua on Monday on a short holiday. Dr. A. J. M. Purchas left for Sydney to-day by the Maunganui. Mr E. J. Prendergast. of Auckland, galled by the Maunganui to-day for gydney. Mr T. A. Kidd, of To Kopuru, has been’ appointed a director of the Northern Wairoa Co-operative Hairy Companv, Limited, in place of the late Mr. Thomas Bassett, whoso death occurred on Saturday.
