DARING THEFT

BEDROOMS RANSACKED EPSOM HOUSE RAIDED A daring theft is reported from Selwyn Road, Epsom. The sum of ±,lB was stolen last evening, although the occupants of the house were at home all the time. The money belonged to Miss Laura Beaglehole. On going to her rooms she discovered that two bedrooms had been thoroughly ransacked by thieves. Cupboards and drawers had been opened and searched, and the rooms left in disorder. The occupants of the house state that they did not hear any noise of the intruders. Evidently the thief had quietly entered the rooms through a window.
