CUSTODY OF CHILDREN
JUDGE MAKES A RULING (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Tuesday. Satisfied that proper arrangements had been made for the care of the children, Mr. Justice Blair in the Supreme Court to-day granted the petition ©f Denis Rowles, railway employee, Auckland, who sought a dissolution of his marriage with Margaret May Bowles, on the grounds of failure to comply with an order for restitution of conjugal rights. The case was before the court yesterday, when the judge adjourned it to enable evidence to foe given of the position of the three children of the marriage. The judge said that in future in cases where petitions for divorce were being dealt with on the grounds of failure to comply with orders for the restitution of conjugal rights he -would insist on inquiry being made into the question of the custody of the children. As a rule when orders of this nature were applied for the question of the custody of the children did not enter into the proceedings.
