FIRE AT DEVONPORT

Fire broke out in the Salvation Army Hall, in Blastings Parade, Devonport, at about 5.30 p.m. yesterday. A member of the Devonport Fire Brigade, who lives near the hall, gave the alarm. The brigade extinguished the tire before any serious damage had been done.
