FOR MASONIC HOMES

GIFT OF LAND MADE RENT-FREE COTTAGES Through the offer of Mr. F. S. Potter, a beginning has been made possible in Auckland for the establishment of Masonic homes. Mr. Potter recently offered to hand over to the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand a block of land of nearly six acres, situated on the PanmureFerndale Road. His purpose is to enable the erection of cottage homes in which aged freemasons and their wives may live rent free. Mr. Potter has further offered to give the scheme a start by building two cottages shortly. The Masonic authorities have accepted the offer. The lodge administrative boards are to consider what steps are to be taken in the movement.
