LOVING, BUT REMISS
BOARDER WHO FORGOT TO PAY landlady sought revenge (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. Clement Kiwi Douglas Sheran, a bootmaker, of Huntly, was boarding with Mrs. Glaiser, a widow, of Hamilton East, last year, he became engaged to his landlady’s daughter. He also omitted to pay his board. For revenge the landlady sued him *or board, and kept Sheran’s gramophone and 37 records. In tho Magistrate’s Court to-day Mr. **• I- Tompkins, on behalf of Sheran, explained that his client had settled the a *nount of his board, and was now askmg for an order for possession of eight records. The machine and 29 records naa been returned. The magistrate made an order for Possession, or judgment for 16s, the value of the records, with costs against defendant.
