BRIDE-ELECT HONOURED
A large number of Papakura Presbyterians assembled in the Papakura Presbyterian Hall on Saturday evenmg to honour Miss Reinee McCall, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McCall, of Great South Road, Papakura, in view of her annroaching marriage. Mr. E. D. McLennan presided and was supported by the pastor, the Rev. R. R. Greenwood. Mr. McLennan spoke ic slowing terms of Miss McCall’s valuable services in connection with the clturcl 3 activities. In asking Miss McCall’s acceptance of a silver tea-pot from the members of the congregation, the Rev. R. R. Greenwood described Miss McCall ns a faithful helper, and of valuable service to him. He wished her every happiness in her married life. During the evening items were given by Mrs. R. If. Lever. Miss H. Beams. Miss G. Stewart, Messrs. R. Garlick and Milliken.
