FIRST CONCERT, DECEMBER 6 The first concert by the newlyformed Puccini Musical .Society will be given in the Town i lull Concert Chamber on Thursday, December 6. An excellent programme of classical and popular music has been arranged and lovers of good music are assured of a very pleasant evening. Details of the programme and booking arrangements will be announced later. A novelty “talkie” has been completed at Universal City, featuring Bill Bailey, of the vaudeville team of Bailey and Barnum. It is in the form of a vaudeville act, with Bailey intro-, ducing such songs as “Rollin’ Along,” “My Mammy,” “June Night” and Canteloupe."
