MR. E. ALLAN AT PAPATOETOE
A large audience at the Central Theatre, Papatoetoe, accorded Mr. E. Allan, the official United candidate, an attentive hearing last evening. The speech, which was much on the same lines as already traversed by the speaker; was interrupted by a few good-natured interjections, though Mr. Allan more than held his own. After answering a / ge number of questions, the candidate was accorded a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence.
