WOMAN DISAPPEARS
SYDNEY j MYSTERY ~ \ - MAY HAVE LOST MEMORY Reed. 10.55 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Mystery surrounds the disappearance of Mrs. Maud Hilt who failed to return home at Paddington from the city, where she is employed. The woman was living apart from her husband, and had been bravely maintaining a home for her four children, the eldest of whom is 13. The children on Friday night went to bed disconsolately, in the absence of their mother. Their plight soon became known, and inquiries were started. The missing woman is attractive and there is nothing to suggest foul play. The opinion expressed is that she may have lost her memory.
