“FALLEN MAN"
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE LESSONSERMON "Adam and Fallen Man” was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Church on Siyiday, the. Golden Text being taken from Romans ii: 26, "All Israel shall be saved: as it is written. There shall coihe out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.” 'The Lesson-Sermon included the following passage from the Bible: "For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinnere, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: that as sin hath.reigned unto death, even so might . grace reign through righteousness unto eternal lifp by Jesus Christ bur Lord” (Romans v.: 19, 20, 21). The following citation from the’ Christian Science textbook ‘(•‘Science’ and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy), was also included in the Lesson-Sermon: "The divine nature was best expressed in Christ Jesus, who threw uifon mortals the truer reflection of and lifted, their lives higher than their pool** thought-models would allow.—thoughts which presented man as fallen, sick, sinning and dying.
