LYRIC
“THE GREAT WELL” “Wickedness Preferred." a. delightful comedy-drama. starring Lew Cody and Aileen Pringle, will be shown at the Lyric Theatre again this evening. Lew Cody has the role of a young and entirely inexperienced author who writes romantic stories of cave-men on desert islands. without ever seeing a. cave-man or a desert island. His stories react very strongly on a fiighty blonde, who proposes that they run away to a desert island forthwith, not realising that the poor author could not possibly live up to the reputations he had created. To this scandalous proposal the author’s wife gives full support.knowing that the failure of their plans will cure them of their fancies. A highly dramatic story. sweeping from India to England, “The Great Well,” is the second attraction. Leena. OWE!) and Thurston Hall are the stars. It is a story of two friends in India, an engineer and a. major, Whose friendship breaks over rivalry for the same girl. .
