COMMEMORATION SERVICE

TWO TABLETS UNEVILED IN ST. ANDREW’S Yesterday morning two brass tablets were unveiled in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to commemorate the work of two former office-bearers of the church. . They were in memory of Mr. Jonn Reid, for 20 years session clerk ana for 25 years treasurer, and of William Culpan. who was organist tor 37 years, and a deacon of the ehuren for 10 years. a The Rev. James Milne, of Thames, a former minister of the church, conducted the service, and unveiled tn tablets. He took his text from the fifteenth verse of the firsst chap of the First Epistle to Timothy, ana compared the stewardship of St. Pau with that of the two men whose services were being commemorated. Members of the Returned Soldier Association, the Old Colonists Association. and the Auckland Bow lins Club, of which both men were members. attended the service
