Special Services have been arranged as under, and all Returned Soldier are asked to attend one of the Churches mentioned below in memory of their fallen comrades; they are especially asked to wear medals. In accordance with the wishes of His Majesty the King, the Prime Minister has requested that at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 11, 1928 (Armistice Day), two minutes’ silence be observed. The Tramways and other city services will be suspended accordingly, and I desire all citizens to give due observance to the occasion.
