CHURCH SALE OF WORK A sale of work to swell the funds of St. Michael's and All Angels’ Anglican Church was held yesterday, and is going on to-day. The function was opened by the Rev. Jasper Calder. city missioner. The tasteful decorations and the delicate colour scheme embraced by the flowers and drapings produced a striking effect and enveloped the fair in a pleasant atmosphei’e. Those in charge of the stalls were as follow:—-Plain sewing, Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Budgeon; fancy sewing, Mrs. Buckley and Mrs. Rowe; toy stall, Mrs. Mills and Miss L. Whittington; cakes, Mrs. Dixon and helpers; produce, Mr. Curry; sweets. Mrs. Blackwell and Miss KLingsford; refreshments, Mrs. Lenan; afternoon tea, Mrs. Sharpe and Mrs. Hawthorne. In the evening a number of musical items were given.
