OTAHUHU METHODISTS

SUCCESSFUL CONCERTS The Methodist Memorial Hall, Otahuhu, was well filled on Thursday evening when a concert party from Auckland, organised by Mr. F. Asher, paid their annual visit. A very enjoyable programme of musical items was provided, and the large audience showed their appreciation of the performers’ efforts during the evening. The Rev. F. Greenwood presided. Items were contributed by Miss and Mr. F. Asher, pianoforte duo; Mr. Kevin, song; Mr. Chevis, some humour; Miss D. Higham, violin solo; Miss Asher, song; Miss E. Thomas, elocutionary item; Miss L. Lindgard, song; .Mr. F. Asher, song; Mr. Chevis, song. At the conclusion of the function a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the performers. The proceeds of the concert are to be devoted to the church funds.
