TEACHERS’ SOCIAL

MR. PURDIE HONOURED To show its appreciation of the long service in the cause of education given by Mr. E. C. Purdie, late secretary of the Education Board, the local branch of the New Zealand Institute of Education has arranged a social for this evening. It will be held at the Training College and Mr. Spenceley Walker, president of the branch, will preside. There will be present representatives of the institute, women teachers’ association, assistant masters’ association and the Education Board.
