WHANGAREI NOTES
Permission has been granted by the Whanparei Borough Council for the use of Kensington Park as a motor-campins ground during the coming season. Mr J- Batchelor, local agent of the Auckland Automobile Association, has in readiness signposts which will be erected to indicate the site to visitors. In connection with the Hikiirangi Swamp drainage works, the cut tlu-ough Orantham's Flat is nearing completion. Tt is 110 ft wide at the t<pp, 30ft at the bottom and 25ft deep.
