TWO BOYS INJURED
ACCIDENTS ON GRLAT SOUTH ROAD Two Manurewa boys were injured, one on Monday evening and tne ether on Tuesday evening, by being knocked down by fnotor-cars on the Great South Road. Jack Kira her, aged nine, a son of Mr. W. Kimber. of Manurewa. was knocked down by a motor-car last eevning and had his thigh broken. He was attended by Dr. Campbell Jenkins and { was then taken home. His condition i is now satisfactory. The right arm and leg of the six- j year-old son of Mr. R. G. Wrightson j were broken when the boy was j | knocked down by a car on the Great; South Road, near' the Rangiriri Hills, j on Monday evening He stepped out i from behind his father's car, which j j had stopped by the roadside, and was j hit by the running-board of a passing , car. The car stopped and took the I boy to Manurewa. where he was attended by Dr. Campbell Jenkins and j then taken to a private hospital.
