The newspapers make it clear that the possible reopening of the Pace murder case by the police does not affect Mrs. Pace. The new line of inquiry Is believed to be directed to questions of alleged perjury and conspiracy arising out of the inquest and trial.
Mrs. Pace Is now living quietly with her children at Gloucester. She says she regrets the renewed prominence now being given to the case, but realises that no developments can affect her innocence, which was finally established at her trial.
