MOTORISTS CHARGED
BREACHES OF BY-LAWS POLICE AND CITY CASES Motorists who had offended against the regulations of city and sciburbs were charged at the Police and Magistrate’s Court to-day. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., presided over the former Court, and Mr. W. K. McKean, S.M., over the latter. CITY CASES Dangerous driving resulted in lines of £4 and costs being imposed on Henry Harrison; £2 10s and costs on L. A. Stead and Gilbert L. King: £2 and costs on Clarence R. Cliff; £1 10s and costs on Harry H. Shaw and Walter Haddock. For failing to obey traffic officers, Reginald Cross was lined £ 1 10s and costs; W. J. Whale, R. C. Nixon and C. W. Simpson were fined £ 1 and costs; W. Gilmour and Guthon Blythe were fined 10s and costs, and A. N. Tabuteau was ordered to pay costs. For other offences Thomas Logan, William Taylor, Arthur Lane, Harry Crump, H. S. McKenzie, Edwin Olliff and Ivan Hatson were each fined £1 and costs; William S. Russell, Charles J. Stokes, Walter Elliott, Norman N. Gutry, Donald E. Cooper, Harold Stone, Thomas R. Bolos, William Jones, Reginald Woolley and George H. Schoules were fined 10s and costs. POLICE PROSECUTIONS Speeding' resulted in lines of £ 2 and costs being imposed on Stanley Mattson; £1 10s and costs on D. Carline; £1 and costs on James Crisp, Tj. Carpenter, C. F. Burnett. C. F. Seawood. Hedlev F. Neader was fined £2 and costs for negligent driving.
For faulty lighting equipment, F. Buchanan, Gladys M. Henderson, and David Ivnipe were fined £2 and costs; Joseph Pauling, Anthony Ralph, Edward R. Sharp, Herbert L. Walters, Alan G. Wright, William E. Rodwell, Andrew T. Rugg and David Steele were fined £1 and costs; Frank Butcher, Cecil I. Boyd, William J. Crichton, Frank A. Cooper, Eric S. Coleman, George Carter, Sydney Cavalier, Robert College, Hugh Dearsley, S. M. Fletcher, William Goodfellow, Arthur Hill, Francis J~ Hughes, Ivan H. Jones, Leo. Healy, Frederick Jointer (two charges), Nor Tan R. Jones, John William Quinlan, L. Reynolds, Albert D. J. Drainer. William S. Taylor, Cecil A. •Smith, R. W. Sproul, Walter S. Stone and Ivy C. Smith.
