EDENDALE DRAINAGE

TENDERS TO BE CALLED The question of drainage at Edendale is to be raised at a meeting of the Drainage Board to -da y. Mr. L. E. Rhodes, Mayor of the Mount Albert Borough Council, announced this last evening, when the council discussed the subject.. He said that tenders for the work were to be called.

“It Is time drainage work at Edendale was put in hand,” M.r. S. R. Kingdon, council health inspector, said in his report. “Edendale is now thickly populated. As the ground Is clay and in parts Is waterlogged, the work is urgent.”
